Please join us as we continue with our new video series, Conversations About Autism, which replaced our Autism 200 lectures, for this month’s conversation titled- Transition to Adulthood: Community Based Services (The College Experience).
Conversations About Autism is a series of 60-minute live-streamed sessions created for providers and caregivers of children with autism who wish to better understand the autism spectrum disorder. In this session we had planned a conversation about accessing community based services when transitioning to adulthood. However, as we began the planning, we had the opportunity to really focus on the experience of college-bound adults on the autism spectrum. So we are excited to talk about the college experience and all the strategies and supports that can help make that successful. Our conversations will include a subject matter expert, a parent with a child with autism, and an adult with autism. I hope you can join us and be a part of that conversation.
